Singapore Exchange to offer virtual environment services to listed companies
By SMBWorld Asia Editors | Jan 31, 2012
Companies listed in the Singapore Exchange (SGX) will be offered a virtual environment technology developed by InterCall Asia Pacific, a conferencing and collaboration service provider.
Intercall's Virtual Environments enable businesses to easily build and customise virtual marketing, recruiting and training environments. Attendees are greeted by a virtual host and can view sessions, ask questions, chat, network and view supporting material. The attendee interface is designed for ease-of-use and a high level of attendee engagement, which enables high levels of interactivity and accessibility among participants.
This solution will be added to SGX's Corporate Services portfolio, and both companies are excited to deliver this value-added service to SGX's listed partners.
"InterCall's virtual platform provides SGX-listed companies with another avenue to raise their company profiles with investors and customers. It adds to SGX's expanding suite of corporate services to promote investor outreach and board excellence," said Mita Natarajan, Head of Corporate Services at SGX.
InterCall is excited to be able to partner with SGX, Asia's most internationalised exchange, to provide a branded and interactive virtual environment platform. The solution is engaging, intuitive and easy to navigate. "Together, we can leverage each other's strengths to provide state-of-the-art, virtual solutions to a range of customers listed on SGX in Singapore, and throughout Asia," said Jon Bratsis, director of Unified Communications for InterCall Asia Pacific.
